The private Stoke-based online bookmaker has emerged as the leader in the eGaming Review’s Power 50 ranking of the most influential bookmakers. It is the 7th annual edition of the ranking. Party Gaming has taken the second place.

The assessment was conducted according to the following criteria: geographic reach, influence and diversity, financials and strategy.

Throughout the year Bet365 bookmaker have impressed the online betting industry with: £5.4bn wagered on its sites to the end of March 2010, strong profit margins, in-running products and brand strength, reinforced by possibly the best World Cup advertising campaign. 

Other notable riser in eGR ranking were Mangas Gaming, owner of Bet-at-home brand, as well as Paddy Power bookmaker.
