Betfair TV, the subsidiary of the London-based #1 betting exchange in the world, has inked a commercial contract with one of the largest electronics producers in the world Samsung Group.

As a result of the agreement, now via Samsung’s Connected TVs and Blu-Ray disc players, viewers will be able to use first-rate real-time sportsbetting and gaming applications that have a direct link to the data on Betfair’s main website.

Apart from being very comfortable, this innovative way of betting is very simple and quick as well, since, as it has been explained, it takes only a few button presses on a remote control to place a bet.

The predictions for the end of the year are that about 1/3 of all the TVs sold in the UK will be Internet enabled, which is a positive indicator for the proponents of betting through TV remote.
